Backdrop to the property was literally the ocean. When it was high tide the waves actually came up to the back door steps. My room was downstairs, back balcony facing so it was one of the older rooms, the a/c was outdated and loud but worked, the bathroom could also do with an upgrade, a little old despite the new shower head and hose and the water didn’t go down the drains fast enough. The bed was big, the overall space in the room was good, my only complaint is the mosquitoes. There were many and they somehow were always in our room, despite keeping the doors closed. The front receptionist made our trip amazing! She is the best and so is all the other staff. She is helpful, accommodating, always allowed us to have a late breakfast coming from the gym and gave us towels, our breakfast was fresh, and they were always happy to give us more of anything when we requested. She was also helpful with your bookings and taxis to and from the airport.

Great location. Away from the hectic of El Nido town, and therefore quiet, but still very close by and easy to get to by tricycle. Great bars and restaurants close by. Right at the beach. You can rent a kayak and snorkel and kayak to Seven Commando Beach. Staff was super friendly. Always smiling and happy to help whenever. Breakfast was basic but good and convenient to have at the accommodation. Airconditioning worked well but was quite noisy.

Great guest house, with super friendly and helpful staff, especially Bem. Perfect location on Corong Corong beach, a 5-minute tricycle ride (100 pesos) to Poblacion El Nido, and less than 20 minutes from the airport. The room had a comfortable king-size bed, and while the air conditioning was a little noisy (but that's typical in Asia), it also included a mini-fridge, towels (including an extra beach towel), and good, daily cleaning service. Breakfast started at 7:00 am, but on our last day, we had an early flight and they graciously accommodated our request for breakfast at 6:30 am. They also co-organize island hopping tours, which were amazing, with a boat departing just a 5-minute walk from the property. They even lent us snorkeling equipment for free. We had an amazing time here and highly recommend it!

The location was great, right on the beach and just outside of the main town but so close to the lovely sunset bars along that way like in one photo. If you want to do boat day trips this is the perfect place to be as most boats depart from this beach. The place looks much better and charming than in the photos and we were very pleasantly surprised as we didn’t have any particular expectations. It was nice having breakfast overlooking the bay. The atmosphere in the evening with the lights and the big swing at the front was lovely and peaceful. The bed was good quality and there was always hot water to shower. Good size rooms and cupboard with desk and kettle for tea and coffee. The stuff is very friendly and accommodating, you can arrange all your tours, transport and bike rental with them. The breakfast is very good with good choice that you need to choose the night before. All in all we were very pleased with our choice.

The staff here was beyond kind and helpful. They almost acted like personal assistants and booked us all the tours, ferry tickets and motorbike. They were very flexible with the breakfast timings to accommodate our schedule. The property is in very good location, only 5 mins away from the town proper. You can easily go to popular places like vanilla beach.

The location is dreamy. The hotel is located right at the beach. Whenever you feel like cooling down in the sea, all you need to do is walk 10 metres to the water. It’s located within walking distance to the centre of El Nido. Getting to the airport is really convenient: there are plenty of tricycles waiting to drive you for 400PHP. There are a lot of good restaurants and bars within walking distance as well. The sunsets are just so lovely to watch from the beach or from the terrace of the house. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There is a possibility to use snorkeling gear and a kayak for free. You can also rent a scooter for an affordable price. The breakfast is varied and the taste is good. Nothing crazy and the portions are a bit small, but it’s certainly not bad. As a European couple used to Western living standards, we really loved our stay at Sophia’s and would certainly recommend it!

I really LOVED my stay at Sophia’s this week! I’m from Australia and I did a solo 4 night stay at Sophia’s to sight see and do some island hopping whilst my Mum was visiting family in Manila. From the moment I stepped in, all the staff were so accomodating and friendly! My room was very clean, the complimentary breakfast was served fresh and hot from the in house chefs daily. My airport and island tour transfers were all on time and the staff were always available to answer any questions I had (I had many lol) The top level is truly one of the best views of El Nido. Every morning I’d get up early to have breakfast on the balcony and take in the view. It’s a 180 degree view of the ocean, beach and mountains. The beach is also literally on the back doorstep. The other things I liked about my accommodation were the external same day laundry service they provide (hard to find in El Nido on the streets) and ordering takeaway which the staff helped me order over the phone. The staff also know the area very well and recommended some lovely beaches to go to in my downtime which I really appreciated! The guest house is approx a 15-20 minute walk to El Nido town and the fresh produce and meat is about 300m away. Sophia’s will not disappoint! Hope you enjoy El Nido as much as I did!

The property is on the beach in El Nido, rooms are clean and the AC is working just fine. We had only breakfast on the upper terrace which was good and the coffee super tasty! They offer facilities such as: booking boat tours and transfers from Puerto Princesa to El Nido (by a mini shared van) and also we had 2 island hopping tours ( we choose A and D tours). The staff is super kind and very helpful so they checked upon us to see if everything was all right because we had to arrive from PPS to El Nido by van which took us 5 hours. We appreciate it very much. Reception also open during night and they offer us free bottled water! A big plus! Thank you.

The room was clean when we got there. Bathroom is sparkling white and water heater, bidet, and hair dryer is a plus. Breakfast is delicious. You get to choose from a variety of options. Free coffee and orange juice. Overall ambiance of the place is peaceful. Very quiet and you can only hear the ocean waves outside. Staffs are also very accommodating and hospitable. They are there whenever you need them and they respond quick to any requests.

The location is wonderful as it’s right on the beach you couldn’t get any closer. It looks like you are going to walk into the water as you exit the front door. The location suited us as it was out of the main town, which you can reach in a tricycle for 100 Pesos in 5 minutes. We planned to stay in El Nido for 3 nights and we had to go into the main town for our second night as Sophia’s was full. The receptionist staff offer of very warm and friendly welcome. Our room was large with two double beds, which were really comfortable. We had three pillows each which was a real treat and the linen smelt lovely. The room also had a small hanging wardrobe, television tea and coffee making facilities and air-conditioning unit as well as complementary towels for the beach. The bathroom was clean we had complementary shower gel and shampoo the shower was electric so the power is never brilliant, but it was more than adequate to wash my hair, it was warm and had a decent spray. Our inclusive breakfast consists of several choices between Continental and Filipino this is served from 7 am until 10 am. We asked about a packed breakfast and this is also possible if you are leaving early to go diving. Although there is no restaurant here but you have breakfast on the balcony, overlooking the beach, which is a beautiful start to the day. They do offer snacks to purchase in the reception area as well as a chiller with some cold drinks to purchase.
